Guest guest
One question - who do you go to for cranialsacral therapy? If it is chiros I might have a problem. I have only tried to see two chiros and both didn't want to touch me due to the EDS. B. HEDS, New Jersey, USA ---------------- I know you live in New Jersey but can't remember exactly where. You can go to www.upledger.com. On the main page, upper right hand corner, it says " find a practitioner. " Click that and you get a menu that gives you choices where you can enter, country, state, city, or practitioner by name. It also has a section where you can click on modality. You can be very broad (just click state without clicking modality), or very specific (click state, city, modality and name of practitioner). You can also just click by name, etc. This is the tool I use to find practitioners for people. When the listings come up, it shows everything that person has taken thru Upledger. Some of them have individual profiles as well but most do not. My main criticism is that it does not show everything else the person knows how to do unless they have filed a profile. As an example, if you found me in the site, it would show that I had been trained in levels 1 and 2 cranialsacral and levels 1 and 2 lymphatic drainage therapy. It would not show anything else I do. As for who does CST, it could be chiros, osteos, regular MDS, dentists, PTs, OTs, LMTs, you name it. The training is basically open to any " healthcare provider " or " student in a healthcare field. " It is also open specifically to parents of autistic children so the work can be done at home for maintenance. At any rate, you can check direct on the website, or, tell me where you are and I can check for you. If you check direct, you can also let me know and I can take a look at the qualifications. Case in point. Lana had her doctor recommend someone the other day in Omaha. When I checked, I found out that the individual had only taken ONE class in CST. There were more than a dozen better qualified individuals in Omaha, including the person she made the appointment with.
