Basically, you're put in a gown after removing any metal you're

wearing....you're put on a table into an odd position that allows for maximum

exposure of

your lumar and hip, then are pushed into a tube, where you try to ignore the

odd sounds and the fact you're about to start spasming while they take

essentially highly specific X-rays. It took, all told, about 25 minutes for me

from

start to finish. It really doesn't entail anything much except for us, who have

to make super-humen efforts to keep still and in the same position for that

long...
