Guest guest Posted May 5, 2005 Report Share Posted May 5, 2005 , If and when you do your spinal tap ask that they do a blood patch. Its where they replace the fluid they take out of you. I didn't know about and I had one heck of a time afterwards. Not everyone has a hard time with it but some do. I had to remain flat right afterwards at the clinic for I think an hour or so and then my husband drove me home. By the time I got there my head was ready to burst. I've never in my life ever had a headache that bad. Don't mean to scare you but ask for the blood patch..............yes this PLS is a game of elimination of all other diseases and of course TIME WILL TELL. You haven't had it that long so you at the beginning of all this darn stuff. I can remember and know what you're going though.
