Theresa,

The only thing I can tell you is that you have an incurable disease which

requires you to take medication for life. If you stop all meds then all the

symptoms will come back that go with the disease. What is worse is if you

leave your thyroid untreated, it can over work you adrenals and begin to

damage them as well. This will lead to adrenal fatigue and eventually

another disease... s if left untreated. Now, this won't happen over

night but, over a period of years. Stress that you have described will make

matters worse without the medication and will only cause your body to

further damage the thyroid. Having a disease is stressful but, not taking

your meds will make the stress worse and your body will let you know it too!
