Word of advice, The main thing I know my judge asked and was concerned about

was do I do everything for myself? Cleaning, shopping cooking those sort of

things if you tell him you do them all then you definately won't win. Not to

tell you to lie but you do almost have to over exaggerate a bit so they know

how bad you really are! As for the jobs they say you can do well tell them

you can't sit fo r periods at at time that it bothers your legs, back

whatever.......make sure you tell him you rely on people to help you ...Don't

mean to sound as though you should lie about things but trust me it's not

that easy to get especially if the judge sees that you do everything for

yourself......Good luck Colette and please let me know how it goes.....

still the judge dismissed me as a " not credible witness " . It was so emotional

time testifying that I cried for petes sakes.

Depression is the tricky one, as I don't " act " depressed.

I just don't ever leave the house LOL! I take morphine for pain, but

they'll just say I'm " managing " my pain, so get on with it!

This is not the tricky one. Tell them that you don't leave the house. That

is serious depression. The fact that you won't leave your house has a name

but I can't recall it. I went through a few months of that and it was very

upsetting to my doctor. He finally got me out of the house but for a long

time I would not go without my husband. I am finally over it but it took

awhile.
