Cindy,

You'll be in my thoughts and prayers. I know a surgery like this must be very

difficult... esp. on the heels on others.

Hope everything goes well.

Dear Cindy H.,

Good luck with your surgery on Thursday, I'll be thinking of you and prayers

are of course sent your way my friend! Oh Lordy I do indeed hope the block

works! There is no need for you to suffer more than you already have. If it

doesn't work tell the anesthesiologist.

Hugs and Love, S.

The sodium and chloride are low *again*. It must be lower than any other

time, because he's having me hold the indapamide AND eat more salt and drink

less fluids until the lab work is done again in two weeks. Usually it's just

the latter that needs to be done.

Do you still have thoracic outlet syndrome or has that been fixed?

If you still have it, do you know the specific type? TOS is a group

of related problems all lumped together under one name. Depending

on the cause, I know a few things that are helpful for it.

Hi all-

I'm having surgery (right basilar thumb reconstruction) this Thursday and

actually glad I am. (can't believe I'm saying that!) The left thumb had it done

If any of you have a chance, I really would appreciate prayers and

thoughts....

It tires me out having a 3rd surgery in this short of time.

subluxing; and he kept loosing my pulse because of thoracic outlet syndrome.)

This afternoon the lab called with results from this mornings blood work. The

sodium and chloride are low *again*. It must be lower than any other time,

because he's having me hold the indapamide AND eat more salt and drink less

fluids until the lab work is done again in two weeks. Usually it's just the

latter that needs to be done.

I don't care that much for salty foods-so I don't look forward to this....

I haven't even noticed anything different.

At least I know about it before surgery!

Mike,

Thankfully I no longer have pain from TOS (thoracic outlet syndrome). The " only "

thing I have is no pulse when my arms are raised out my side to 45 degrees or

more. -so I don't raise my arms. I do move them around so my shoulders don't

get stiff, but never keep them there for any length of time.

I've never been told what type, only that I have it.

Mike, I'm beginning a notebook of sorts, on some of the techniques

and alterternative therapies that you and others have informed us of,

so if you wouldn't mind posting it, I'd sure appreciate it! Please?

I promise to be good! (at least for awhile)

Love Lana

Cindylouwho,

I can use all the encouragement there is....I'm more than ready to have it-but

still I get a teeny tiny bit apprehensive.

I do fine once the surgery day is here though.

Why can't things be fixed magically? :D

Will keep ya'll posted how it went.

Love,

CindyH
