Dear LeeAnn,

Welcome to the group! I live in Massachusetts, so we are practically neighbors!

I don't really post all that much, this weekend is really an exception to that, but this group has been very helpful and loving and I am sure you will find that too!

Well, I am burning dinner, so I have to run. So glad you joined us though!

Hugs,

LeeAnn dear, you are about to be bombarded with e-mails telling you never to worry about being long winded!! Know why? Cause we all are when we need to be and with me that's a ton. You have an advantage over most people in that you have knowledge before your dx. I hate to tell you this but sometimes flares do last six weeks and I have had a couple that lasted months. By they way I guess I should introduce myself. I am a C, 35, and I have fibromyalgia and lupus and also thyroid and blood pressure troubles. Your health issues are never trivial here, we all like to whine and I even sometimes get cheese with mine! My husband and I have been married 14 years next month and we currently have nine children in our home. My nephew Matt, he's 17. Then there is Justen,15, 14, Bridget will be 13 next month, then Karl is 11. They are ours (adopted) and Then Freddie is 9, Keyone is 2, is 22 months. Those are all foster kids we are adopting (hopefully soon) and then last but not least is baby Felicity who is 7 weeks old and is a foster baby that will probably go home to her family in another month or so. So that is our family. Please never worry about sending long posts. See? I do! And also never think your health problems are less than anyone elses. I often think that when I read how sick some of our members are, but you know what? When I hurt, I hurt. And they all do their best to help me feel better. You have found a wonderful group of people that know just where you are right now in your illness. Feel free to jump in and post anytime!

a C

You all sound like wonderful people!!! next time I will make it short...LeeAnn
