Thanks for the welcome, everyone. I have not been to a Rheumatologist yet. What would he do? My discomforts are not severe most of the time. They are more annoying than anything else..and wierd. The only time I was miserable was when I could hardly move during a hive attack I had in March. I must have been swelling internally too. I was on Prednisone for that...miserable drug. And I keep it on hand in case I have a bad reaction again. My lip blew up last week because I forgot my antihistimine. I heard that being hypothyroid can cause joint pain and bad allergies. I'm hoping that this is the case. I've been on Synthroid for a week and a half, so no difference yet. I know it takes a bit to kick in..which is driving me nuts because my hair is still coming out!!! UGH!! Do you know how long it took to grow my hair out long? I am so mad. :o( My hair is so thin now...with bald spot in my bangs. Nobody can tell..but I can.

So far I am being referred to an Endocrinologist. I have no idea why. That is a gland doctor. My regular doctor says that because I have a high ANA and thyroid problems, I need to see one. Does anyone here know why I am seeing this kind of doctor? Apparently, I have to fill some stuff out and I'll get in weeks from now. When they ask why i am coming in, I won't know what to tell them. I don't really need any medication at this time. Though I'd like some Prednisone, just to have. I'm running out. I just want to know what the heck is going on with me. It's just annoying when my hair is falling and my head is tingling and my toe is sleeping and wrists are bugging me. I was joking with my husband the other day that I may start going to the gym with a cane!! LOL Just kidding.

Thanks for letting me bring this here. Also I am sorry for all of your pain that many of you here live with day to day. :o( It must make my irritations seem so mild.

Subject: Welcome Rachail

Welcome ,

Have you seen a Rheumatologist yet? When a person has lupus, fibromyalgia, or arthritis they need to see that kind of Dr. I hope you don’t have lupus. Let us know. Sorry I took so long to write. I’ve been away from the putter.
