Guest guest Posted April 24, 2001 Report Share Posted April 24, 2001 The problem was she was dad's dog and he died in Feb 2000 and mum wouldn't have her put down because of it. Very difficult. Gosh you do have a good memory. :-) Tupman - so you had to cope with all that as well; it's a difficult decisoin though maybe not so much if animal wasn't your own one - but it's such a kind decision too. I found it terribly difficult with my two 18 yo cats to say 'do it' to the vet, whilst at the same time knowing it was the kindest thing I could do for them - felt like being God but on the other hand a giving a release. Hope *you* are gradually feeling better :-)) When feeling much better, would you feel like collaborating with me on a joing article on taking kids to the Channel Islands for great holiday? I can do the Guernsey bit as used to stay there in my GM's lovely old house.
