Guest guest
Dear , Hello and welcome. I just read your BIO and I had just had to reply. You said you got very sick in the Soviet Union. You got better off and on and then new symptoms appeared. **I started the same way. Got a very bad influenza (lasted 3-4 months), then felt better then worse again. > > > Male/female: Male > > > What are the symptoms? > > IBS > Joint pain > Migraines > Horrible sleep patterns > Perpetual fatigue > Chronic kidney stones > I too, have all the above except Kidney stones, and my headaches get bad, but have never been doagnosed with migraines...I have interupted sleep and I always feel tired and I too feel like I have been run over by a truck! I was recently diagnosed (July 2001) with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. I get an ongoing sore throat that has lasted for 4 months at a time. This is a primary symptom of CFS. I have been sick for approx. 4 years, but not diagnosed till last Feb. (1 year now) with FMS. My doctor (GP) still says if I get 8 hrs. sleep a night, I would be fine. He is is big denial. He won't prescribe anything for me for pain except (Celebrex) for the joint/muscle stiffness and Ibuphrohen 600mg. for pain. I have a Rhumeotologist appointment again in March and I am going to insist she put me on a pain med, b/c I don't see why I should suffer there is no need. If you could get your GP to refer you to a Rhumey with a good reputation, this is my suggestion to you. They seem to be more familiar with CFS/FMS. , when you mentioned Carbs, play a role in the disturbance of your symptoms, what did you mean by that? I too, am a carb junkie and I crave them if go too long without. Spicy foods are a NO NO now too b/c of the IBS, and I always loved HOT spicy foods. I am sorry you are suffering all these problems at such a young age, but since you mentioned, your mom had FM and your sister has MS, I do believe that FM is somewhat hereditiary. Good luck , Carolyn in Canada > Hi. Just joining the group. My name is and > I'm just joining to find community and hopefully some > direction in finding a doctor who can help me.
