Guest guest
Hey guys, I was able to participate in a Lupus study at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine. They took a full history of my symptoms, illnesses, emotions, etc and then gave me free acupuncture. I have noticed a huge difference in my Raynaud's and in my overall mood. Has anyone else tried acupuncture? Was it helpful? Very curious about this type of medicine. I was relaxed, like after a massage, but not sleepy relaxed...I was more alert after the acupuncture. I would really enjoy hearing experiences/opinions about this. Thanks. ~
Guest guest
Hi ! I tried acupuncture and massage therapy for many months last summer. I did feel very relaxed, but once it was all said and done, I never saw any long term benefits. But hey, the massage part felt pretty good at the time! The only bad thing that happened is that over time I actually ended up being too sensitive when it came to the needles. I myself was relaxed, but my back muscles in particular started to overreact and I would go into spasms. I will say though, that it never hurts to try something new. I'd give my right eye for just one truly pain free day. Shelby > Hey guys, > I was able to participate in a Lupus study at the Oregon College of > Oriental Medicine. That sounds really uncomfortable!!! I have been wondering about long term benefits...the practioner that I had said that I should have acupuncture every three weeks to keep the good feelings rolling. I think I'll try it for a while and see how it goes. I have to say that my Raynaud's has been under control since I had the acupuncture Sunday morning. That rocks! ~
