Guest guest
Hi everyone, It's been ages since I last posted - my mother had emergency heart surgery, but now is on the mend. Jasper is now 14 weeks old, his tendon release went well when he was 10 weeks and his plasters will come off on Monday. He has been happiest in these casts so far,now that his legs are strong enough to lift them, and we're hoping the transition to the bar will not be too much of a trial for him. My question is about the plastizoide inserts for the boots. When I called the shop they said that they did not give out any inserts for the heels but the back of the boot was fairly soft/ padded. I don't think she fully realised that I was wondering about the inserts which are supposed to help shape the heel. Do other people use these in the boots? Should I be ordering them? What is the situation if I don't have this? Also does anyone have to do exercises with their baby's legs/feet, apart from teaching them how to bend both legs at once - I am slightly concerned about the calf muscles which have been in plaster for such a long time now. Thanks for your help, this is a great list and it is wonderful to have everybody sharing their experiences good and bad, Tamsin and Jasper Sydney, Australia
