Does the pineal gland enlarge with NDE's? (near death experiences)

Also; I wonder if because many of us were in chronic pain since early

childhood and no one knew (sometimes even we didn¹t know) if this would tend

to keep us living 'outside' of our bodies; rather then 'in' them just for

survival purposes?
