Guest guest
Hi Everyone: First of all I would like to wish everyone a wonderful New Year. I hope and pray that 2002 is a much better year for you than 2001. I pray it brings you more " good days " than bad ones and your pain levels are reduced. Hugs and kisses to each and every one of you. Now for the good news. I saw the optomoligist yesterday and he said I had no signs of cataracts or glaucoma, which is good. The bad news is that he found signs of Diabetic Retinopathy and I need laser surgery to reduce the blood vessels in my retina to maintain my sight. So my first surgery of 2002 will be that. :>( I am thankfull that he found the problem and it can be " treated " now while I still have most of my sight. He did say that the condition will continue to progress though and that eventually I will go blind but he doesn't think that will happen for at least several years. I am not concerned about going blind as with my other health problems I figure I will probably not be around when my eyes finially give out. Oh well I just wanted to let you all know what has been happening with me and to send you y blessings for the New Year. (((((HUGS))))))) to everyone.
