Wow! Even I refused to do the dissections at school. Much to my mother's grief.

Slightly OT: Bragging about my kid

Most of you know that my oldest son, (15) has fairly

significant sensory defensiveness, right? Well, he has been taking

Biology this year...complete with labs. They are doing dissections,

and he has made it through an earthworm, a crayfish, a fish, and

today, the grande finale'---a frog. This is a HUGE deal; he came

home last week physically ill from dealing with the fish, but HE DID

IT!!! He did every single dissection!

Other people wouldn't understand what an absolutely amazing victory

this is...
