That is excellent!!!! When I took biology in school, I managed to be

absent for every single disection. I hated biology..lol.

WTG !!!

I can remember doing the dissections in H.S. I was pretty good with

most of it until we came to the cricket. I have this insane

dislike/phobia of crickets. My lab partner wasn't much better. Every

time we did something to it we both shrieked involuntarily and the

biology teacher would yell at us. My insides were in knots by the time

that period ended.

So I can understand a little bit about how hard it was for to

make it through each and every dissection.

HUGE WAY TO GOS!

Wow! Even I refused to do the dissections at school. Much to my mother's grief.

Slightly OT: Bragging about my kid

Most of you know that my oldest son, (15) has fairly

significant sensory defensiveness, right? Well, he has been taking

Biology this year...complete with labs. They are doing dissections,

and he has made it through an earthworm, a crayfish, a fish, and

today, the grande finale'---a frog. This is a HUGE deal; he came

home last week physically ill from dealing with the fish, but HE DID

IT!!! He did every single dissection!

Other people wouldn't understand what an absolutely amazing victory

this is...
