Guest guest
I sure know what you mean about CostCo. I have been able to go alone and buy a few things since they got a few electric carts with baskets. I could not go without my husband before and I still got so exhausted! I even get tired riding in the cart! Wow, a dinner for 40 with songs and stuff! That must have been so fun! Even six can really wear me out. Be careful. I love corned beef and cabbage. We haven’t entertained in months and months. My husband had a bad manic-depressive episode and I have been so sick with the gallbladder thing. My house is a pig sty. I am so tired. I think I am still trying to get well from the surgery. Cheryl in CA >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> after one trip through Costco on Saturday morning with my adopted mother, that I came home in tears. Must be a combination of the damp, cold weather and the stress with the school this last week. My body is rebelling big time. I told Normi I am setting up a dinner party for six on the 13th of March to celebrate St. Paddy's. I used to give a corned beef dinner for 40 every year, complete with Irish folk songs and all. But, I am just not up to that any more. I sure miss all the entertaining I used to do sometimes...along with camping...painting trips...hiking...eesh...better stop thinking about what I can't do and concentrate on what I CAN. No pity parties for this gal. Nuh-uh. Gotta take the first drape out of the dryer. More later. Hope your day is going well for you. Loving hugs, MM
