Hi Darlene, I'm not a doctor but it seems to me your problem is coming from the cold. I don't usually get colds and when they do they only last a couple of days. That was until a couple weeks before Christmas. I am a very healthy, very active person and this cold made me feel weak, tired, etc. It slowed me down but it did not stop me. I think you need to see your doctor about this cold before it gets worse. hugs Eunice

Guest guest
Has anyone found that they just keep getting weaker and weaker after being put on glucophage? I thought I was doing pretty well cutting down the sugars and carbs, but I have been on the glucophage for just about a month and had to leave work last night and almost the night before because I was so weak. I cannot afford to leave work because we have absolutely NO benefits. There could be some problem because I have a bad cold right now and have been using chicken soup to try to get rid of it rather than mix drugs. I don't have much in it but the chicken, chili, tomatoes, and a few potatoes, plus seasoning. I am also drinking a lot of tea. I am just getting worried because I seem to be a lot worse since I was diagnosed and have been taking care to eat better. Darlene
Guest guest
Thanks. I just called her. Hopefully she will get a chance to call back before noon. I get colds every January, but this one has me down pretty bad. I'd have thought I'd be better off than last year before I was taking better care of myself. I am afraid to take anything because of the BP med. I got something the pharmacist said was okay, then found out from someone else on the BP med that the combination can be fatal. Guest guest
Usually it is only a cold that turns into a sinus infection. It comes every year. I do have a call in to the Dr office, but often she doesn't answer anything until late in the day. Thank you. Darlene Re: weakness Hi Darlene, Please get yourself to a doctor immediately.
