I know what you mean about being " bitchy " when in pain.

The pain has been out of sight ever since the 5th, after the hand surgeon did

the " grind test " to check out the (CMC)basilar joint on my thumb.

Since then, if you look in the dictionary under that word, there's a picture of

me...

I don't even like me when I'm like that....I can't even imagine what it's like

for Rod (my husband).

There's ways I react to pain....

first I get really gabby....(distraction) pain level 7

then the bitching starts in....pain 7-8

next I stop talking--pain is 8+ - 9+

Wonder if it would help my docs to have this guide when asking how the pain is

lately???

**They could just ask, Are you gabby, bitchy, or mute?

Ya know, this pain scale makes much more since. This is exactly the way Dylan

responds. Today he is between gabby and bitchy, so I'd guess he's a 7 1/2.

Yesterday he was mute/bitchy hmmm.. 8 1/2? Cindylouwho
