Be careful with decisions about surgery There are many highly effective surgical options to treat a variety of spinal conditions. Unfortunately, however, too people are disappointed to find that most or all of their pain is still around after surgery. While there are a number of reasons a particular surgery may fail to alleviate a patient's pain, probably the most prevalent reason is that the diagnosis was incorrect in the first place. Guest guest
Your welcome Lana; I am glad you found them helpful. I was reading a spondiliothesis list and no one on there seemed to have a good surgery experience; so they did a call out to those who had one. People started writing in and saying that they still had pain; though the movement had stopped. I am not even sure we with HEDS can hope for that. There are several on there that are beyond the window where 'surgery' will even help. It has certainly made me more aware of what my back and spine is doing; and what is extremely important for me to continue doing.
