Guest guest
We may have... I used to use the screen name XanthianKat or Xanthkat... problem was, I couldn't use it on all my messengers and email, since it was taken in some, so I went back to a name I've used on all for a while. It makes it easier to find me, especially for my kids. Well, am currently living in sunny Madeira Beach, longing for Indian Rocks Beach, which I liked much better. Just got back from about 6 months in Buffalo New York, where I could live cheaper while waiting for the government to get it's thumb out of it's butt and start sending me some social secutity money. After a couple monthes I started worrying I'd be old and wrinkled by then, so I came back here. I've actually been with the group about a year, but sold my computer when I got to Buffalo so I could pay the rent. After about 20 years of hearing I have this and that, the docs finally decided I MIGHT have Lupus, well, with the positive ANA and sed rate and DNA testing and so on and so forth, the docs in Buffalo say they aren't sure, because they've never seen the malar rash (although I have photos going back 20 years of it!), and the docs down here say that's a pretty niave way to diagnose Lupus anyway... I have 4 kids... the older two are off on their own. My daughter is finishing a degree in Marine Biology in San Fran, and flies out with her " significant other " (a great guy, she has taste!) when she can. My son is in Buffalo, and seems to have disappeared for some reason, but he may be in a hospital and unable to contact me, or has gotten his own place and hasn't been online. He's a schizophrenic, so it's hard sometimes... My younger two are twins, and are going through a stage right now where they are as annoyed as can be that moomy doesn't feel well, and that mommy doesn't get up easily in the morning, and that mommy doesn't run and play anymore. They nag me constantly to get a job and do things with them, which only makes me feel worse. Because they are both mildly disabled (Tay is high functioning autistic and Cay is a little... I guess " slower " would be the word) they really don't seem to understand in their little hearts what their minds know, that mommy just isnt well enough to do those things. Of course if I had my way I'd slather on my level 45 sunscreen and sit at the edge of the Gulf all day (which is what I used to do in Indian Rocks, but the beach-goers here in Madeira are a bit too rowdy for the likes of me!) and read multi-cultural contemporary American novels. ((HUGS right back!)) ~Kate > > Hi kate!! I am from FL too. I'm sorry but have we met before? I sure hope I have not missed another newbie!!
