Guest guest
I only had one filling and chose to have it revoved before getting pregnant again. I didn't chelate myself only because I had one however, I chose not to get pregnant for a year because I wanted to get my body healthy by eating good, and taking vitamins. In your case, because you have 9 silver fillings, I'd definently get them removed and I'd do some chelation. You don't have to do something so harsh like dmsa but maybe you can do just ala. I really don't know how long you should wait untill after your done detoxing, but my guess would be at least 3 months after detoxing because chelation stirs up metals and my guess it that you wouldn't want any residue of toxins to get to the embryo.....just my thought. As for your other questions, I have no idea on how many they can remove at a time, but make sure you go to a dentist that knows what they are doing....they need to take extra procautions like putting a dental dam in your mouth so you don't swallow the small pieces of metals......so denist don't do this so ask so you don't get more toxic. > > Help! > I'm so confused and don't know who to beleive. Guest guest
If you remove your amalgams, yous should wait about a year before you get pregnant because at this time your body is detoxing rapidly and tons of mercury are circulating through you, and mercury crosses the placent, if you chelate during this time, you will have less symptoms and would remove more mercury, but you shouldn't get pregnant until after about one year after removal of all the amalgams, and a few months after stopping chelation. It may be better to postpone removal of amalgams > > Help! > I'm so confused and don't know who to beleive. Guest guest
You should wait at least a year and a half to conceive. Guest guest
If you don't know somebody who for SURE knows what they are doing, I would suggest finding one who is following the Huggins Protocol. Look up " hal huggins " . There should be somehting or somebody throught the Huggins site who can direct you. ~Inga ____________ on 10/18/04 10:47 AM, Robin at amethist29@... wrote: > > > > I only had one filling and chose to have it revoved before getting > pregnant again. Guest guest
Sheryl- Here is a site that I found very informative. I did find a great dentist about 90 miles from me and will have him remove my amalgam as well. I read somewhere that you werent supposed to cross the center line of your mouth when removing it. I didnt read on why but I do remember that. For example..imagine halfing your mouth from the top of your skull. It said to only do the right OR left side at one time. This was in a holistic magazine I was reading. Do lots of reading before you proceed. Here is that link. http://www.dams.cc/ hope it helps Sherry > > Help! > I'm so confused and don't know who to beleive. Guest guest
You either have to get them removed at least 18 months before conceiving, or not do anything with them if you don't want to wait that long. If you chelate, wait at least 90 days after the last cycle (and at least 18 months after filling removal) before conceiving.
