Guest guest
That's what I take too. I find it hard to remember to take them though. I was told to take 2 a day, but the one in the morning I was taking with my vitamins and someone told me they counter act. Is that true? I shouldn't take them with my pre-natal and B12? Guest guest
My daughter liked those a year ago. It's hard to get her to get calcium that a teen girl needs because she hates milk. Fortuantly she likes yogurt and cheese though. She claims to stand milk on cereal though. I've got her taking Calcium Citrate tablets now. I assume those are too big or annoying for you maybe? They're the cheapest route I've found to heavy Ca. There is a liquid Ca suppliment I've seen at Costco in a big bottle for bulk purchase. I don't mind the Ca Citrate/Vit D tablets myself. Viactive has lots of yummy flavors. Whatever it takes to get it so long as you get it man. Mike in GR > > I have been having a hard time getting all my calcium each day. Guest guest
I know you will like this one Mike........I looked at the caltrate soft chews, they are like 8-10 bucks a box and there are 30 chews in the box.......The Viactiv is the same price for 60 chews......so I got three boxes, and it will last me two months....... Guest guest
I avoid sugar like the plague.......So I feel like 4g spread out three times a day is ok....at least for me....A total of 12g spread through the day does not seem high to me.......I dont eat all three together, does anybody else think this is to high?? Thanks Mike T Re: FYI........Calcium > The ones I saw in the store had 4g sugar each. Do the kind you take > have less sugar, or is that amount OK? Guest guest
I was taking the Viactiv chews before the surgery, but after, the dr wants us to stick to Calcium Carbonate (because it is absorbed easiest) and the chews also have too much sugar for me. I have to stay less than 3 G of sugar and fat both, so I take my calcium pills, split them in half and let them sit in liquid until they mush.. then I just chug them down. Not too bad that way.
