Guest guest
Hi Kerry, I am 34. Below are my test results and some info on my symptoms. Hormone Test via Saliva Test Hormone Test In Range Out of Range Range > Estradiol 6.0 1.0-5.0 premenopausal (optimal 1.5-3) > Progesterone 37 100-600 premenopausal-luteal ( Ratio: Pg/E2 6 50-200 Optimal, 200-1000 Progesterone Therapy > Testosterone 42 20-50 > DHEAS 17.7 3-10 > Cortisol Morning 9.3 3-8 > > Blood Test (I'm not sure how to read this but I will write it as it > is on the test results) > T4, Thyroxine 7.8 4.5-12.5 UG/DL > T3 Uptake 34.5 27-37 %Uptake > TSH (3rd Generation) TSH (3rd Gen) 2.77 .300-5.700 uIU/mL My blood tests did not reveal a thyroid problem, but after my doctor saw my saliva test she decided that I should go on Armour, Hydro Cortisone and natural Progesterone Cream. I started the Armour about a month ago and the progesterone cream Dec 11th. I chose not to take the cortisone because it is a steroid and I didn't want weight gain and the other possible side effects. I was experiencing irritability, fatigue and depression (especially right before my period). When I would comb my hair in the shower there would be A LOT. Since starting the Armour my weight has increased and my breasts are tender and I'm still feeling the blues. I have been taking 1/4 grain of the Armour every morning, but today I took 30mg (2 1/4 pills) of Armour. I don't think I should be on Armour. I'm not sure why I would need my thyroid to make more hormone especially if I have too much estrogen hormone. I hope you have some suggestions. thank you. Guest guest
I would suggest you check your sexual hormones - estrogen and progesterone etc. I have finally lost weight on armour. 2 months - 10 lbs. 3 months on synthroid no relief - none! Thought my Mom lost 10 in 2 months on synthroid. Mind you I did exercise about 5 miles a day. but before I did the same and didn't lose a single lb. Wishing you health and happiness, > I submitted something similar earlier but haven't received any response. > How come the Armour is causing my breasts to swell and become tender? > And how come I am gaining weight? > > I think people should be warned if there is a possibility that this can > happen. > I am very unhappy with my appearance now and it is adding to my > depression. > I feel very hopeless.
