Guest guest
Hi everyone, My nane is Barbara, and I am very knew to all of this. I was diagnosed in 2002 after 2 years of going from doctor to doctor! I'm 42 and have 3 children, a husband, and a dog. My husband is and we have been married for 11 years, this is my second marriage. We don't have any children together, but we have them from previous relationships. I have 2 sons, 17 and Mikey 14 and a stepdaughter, Mandi 18 and of course my baby, Sable ( the dog). We live in Illinois. As I started saying I am very knew to this, I have never been in a suport group, or anything like this before, so I'm not sure of what to do. Well, I just wanted to introduce myself. And say hello!!!! Barbara
Guest guest
>Hi Barbara, Welcome to the group. I am fairly new at this also. I was diagnosed a few weeks ago with lupus and am still trying to figure it all out and understand it. This group has been great! I find myself just spending a lot of time reading the posts. When I have a question come up or think of something to say I post. I have found this group to be like having a conversation. You read what they wrote and if you feel inclined to reply. I am sure you will probably have plenty of questions to ask. Don't be afraid to ask and watch for special posts. Several of the moderators especially Deanna post informational stuff from other sites and it really helps to read them. I too am 42 and have 4 kids a dog and a cat. I live in Southern California and am a doll artist/polymer clay artist/teacher. Glad you joined us! Carol Hi everyone, > > My nane is Barbara, and I am very knew to all of this.
