Guest guest
Hi Val, ANOTHER sister of mine also has thyroid issues and adrenal issues. Her Rt3/Ft3 ratio is 10.5, I believe if I did it correctly. She does have HAshi's. She also has a DHEA level of < 15 with ref. range of 15-170 mcg/dL which was blood test. Her 24hr saliva said her dhea was 4 with range of 3-10. Ferritin is high at 164. Her fasting insulin was 37 (hyperinsulinic) with range of 3-12 uIU/mL. She tested high for all 3 Candida tests. IgG 34 range 0-29, IgM 11 range 0-9. IgA 23 range 0-9. Her adrenals are as follows: 6-8am - 7 - Range 13-24nM 11-noon - 14 - Range 5-10nM 4-5pm - 10 - Range 3-8nM 10- midnight - 6 - Range 1-4nM She is in menopause because of hysterectomy about 4 yrs. ago. She is taking bio-identicals as of 2 weeks ago after not getting any relief from hot flashes with what her doctor prescribed. She is not seeing my naturopath who believes in much of what we discuss in our group. Any input would be appreciated. Venizia
Guest guest
She is probably goin got need HC but she could try Isocort first due to the higher noon on levels. Myabe 4-5 pellets in the Am thne 1-2 at noon IF she needs then (from symotoms shaking or nausea) Sher need sot track temps to be certian they are stable before starting T3. MOST hyserectomized women need Premarin. I knwo thta is the Estrogen we all love to hate but fact is it works adn she needs somehting that works PRONTO as that high inuslin denotes high insulin resistance. If she does not conquor the insulin resistance it will soon eb Diabetes. She needs testosterone tested as wiht lwo DHEA it is most likekly in the dirt too. -- http://nthadrenalsweb.org/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/
