Guest guest
Re Re: " Soup line " rant AJ - I'm wondering if the pain group was looking for " research subjects " and that was why they were so insistent on you taking the psych test.... when you refused, then you didn't " fit " into their research subject criteria... although they should have told you as much.... When you request your medical records ask for EVERYTHING - and that this is for contiuation/continuity of care for another MD and that you will PICK UP THE RECORDS personally....they can't refuse you the records or CHARGE you.... Tell them you will hand carry the records to the next MD(s)
Guest guest
Bonnie; No they said this was standard protocol. Though when I talked to the pain shrink shrink on the phone he told me himself that there were ways to not have to take the mmpi; and then gave me the assorted reasons. However when I saw him in person he told me that no one had refused the mmpi before. I routinely ask for my records - yearly. I guess it is time again. Thanks for the kind reply.
