Guest guest
Hi all, This is labeled as an " antioxident " in Kirkmans Product Catalog. One cap contains 100mg. Has anyone tried this? If so, results good or bad? Any side effects? Andy and/or Dana please comment. My kiddo is Merc/Lead toxic. Thanks. ... .. Guest guest
Glutathione is irrelevant unless he has measured low plasma cysteine. Andy . .. . . . .
Guest guest
, Based upon what I read here, I stopped L-glutathione for my son. Its use was recommended by Dr. Shaw of the Great Plains Lab because my son had elevated Krebs cycle metabolites (citric and aconitic), and decreased pyroglutamic, both of which are indicative of diminished glutathione. Although L-glutathione taken orally is not supposed to work (it gets metabolized by the gut), my son's repeat urine organic acids test showed markedly diminished Krebs cycle metabolites. I kept all of this other supplements the same and removed the L-glutathione. His next urine OAT showed improvement in every area (almost normal arabinose, normal urinary VMA) but his Krebs cycle metabolites were greater than before. I have restarted the L-glutathione and will report back with his next set of results. nat

At first, it helped him get rid of his " writing letters in the air " . After a few weeks, it caused problems. This is my son's typical pattern when he needs something, then does not need it any more. Dana
