asymmetry of the face

When my daughters and I saw Dr Byers, the first thing he noticed about

was that she has a very slight asymmetry of the face.

His report says " her left eye being slightly smaller than her right and the lid

being slightly lower " .

Now, I know that just about everyone has this. But, I'm wondering why he

noticed it right off in . I never noticed anything, and is just

beautiful - I mean a knockout.

I'm wondering why he put that in his report. Is this an EDS thing?

The worst thing about him telling us this is that has OCD, and, well, you

just don't tell people with OCD about anything that might be " different " about

them.

Anyway, why would something like this be in his report? Is there some link to

EDS? Or, is he just being thorough?

EVERYONE has facial asymmetry, period.

I have seen things over the years where you take a photograph of

anyone, bisect it right down the midline through the center of the

nose, and then mirror image the right and left sides.

In essence, you come out with a picture made up of right side with

mirrored right side and a picture of left side with mirrored left

side. You then compare these two results with the original picture

and you would swear you are looking at pictures of three different

people.

Some of the asymmetry can be startling and some can be extremely

subtle. But, when you do the above picture thing, it is ALL

startling, the differences that show up.

I saw a show on TV years ago where they actually did this - then they

showed two pictures - one symetrcial and one asymetrical to several

people and every single time the asymetrical one was considered more

attractive.

I forgot to mention that aspect but I have read/heard the same thing

over the years.

Kerry and have I've done this at the Pacific Science Center years

ago. It's AMAZING how asymmetrical we are!

___________

Not in your case. We didn't call you a " funny little kid " behind

your back when you were growing up without a reason.

Well, not true. I've had LOTS of offers!

Of course, I define " reasonable " as replacement value for the massages I

get, and in my book, that's " priceless " .

Okay, I'm changing my advertisement.
