Guest guest
Hi everyone, Wow, I finally got caught up reading all the posts again. Welcome to all the new people - you have come to the right place. Even though I don't post often, I always read what you all have to say, albeit many times I am a few weeks behind. I have stuck to the flex plan myself. It got me to my goal and lifetime. I really did always eat pretty nutritional foods, I just have a big appetite (even when I was a skinny little kid and teenager) so portion control is one of the key things that worked for me on WW winning points or flex plan. I have to measure. The other thing is I like the variety the flex plan has to offer. And since I am an anal kind of person, the journaling and keeping track of points is something I LIKE to do. It gives me something to look back on when I get stuck for an idea for a meal - I can go back and look at what I had a few months ago, an idea for a good meal that I had forgotten about. Anyway that is what works for me. Like someone here said, " If I could tell when I was comfortably satisfied, I would not have needed weight watchers in the first place. BUT, for many of you the core plan seems to be working and working well. I am happy for you. Keep up the good work. Here are some things I have heard from people about the 2 ww plans: " If you like a lot of variety, core is not for you, " " The core program provides for healthier eating. " " The core program seems to be a good jump start for some, but many stop losing weight on it after a while due to overeating core foods. " " Many people lose when they start the core plan because they were not really following the flex plan faithfully. " " The core plan is great because I hate to journal and count points. " These are things I have heard from others, not my opinions. To each his own is what I say, whatever works for you. The important thing is that we all found weight watchers as a way to follow a healthier diet and way of life.
