Guest guest
Had yet another discussion of private parts while he was in the tub last night. He wanted to know why girls' private parts included breasts (or boobies as he calls them) and boys'private parts don't. I just said that in our culture women keep their breasts covered in public and it is not appropriate to touch them. Thinking of Penny's fears of possible abuse, I asked if he knew that it was wrong for anyone except mom or dad or the doctor to touch his private parts. " Yes " , he said, " of course, I know that! " When I asked what he would do if someone touched or tried to touch them, he smiled and said, " I'd yell 'SNAP OUT OF IT!' and tell them they didn't want to do that! " Somehow I think we may need many more years of practice on this subject....Sigh! Leggs
