Hi Everyone . . .

This lupus has given me problems with my legs and hips too (I've

heard several of you talk about this) - especially after I get in bed.

Last week my masseuse gave me a magnetic mattress pad and told me to use

it for three or four weeks and then not use it for a while (tends to

make you hyper she said). I took it skeptically, wondering whether it

was some sort of fad type snake oil treatment or what. I've used it now

for over a week and I have to say the darn thing has HELPED stop the leg

pain. I don't know how or why. All I know is it's helping me so, at

the moment, I'm not asking too many questions. She and her husband use

one (he's diabetic and she has muscle problems from a recent car wreck)

and she says it has helped both of them. Someone had given her another

one and that's the one she gave me. She's the soul of generosity and

has helped me a lot just with the every-other-week massages and the

various healing oils etc. she uses during the massages. She doesn't

pretend to be a doctor but does have several licenses for massage,

physical therapy, and as a trainer, plus she's a registered nurse. She

likes massage better than nursing because of the hands-on contact with

people and the obvious good results. She makes less money but enjoys

the work more.

Don't know if this would work for others but it has surprised me

because I sleep better (understatement!). I also don't know how much

they cost. I use it just under the sheet. It's washable in cold water.

Best to everybody. Lots of love,

C.
