Guest guest
Hello! Happy Friday! Well....our chapter had our Christmas party last night at Steak N Ale. Mom and I got dressed up and did some holiday shopping and errands before hand so we didn't make it to the weigh in. Most of the members just met at the restaurant since the weigh in was a lot earlier than normal. I believe 95% of the chapter showed up and we had our own private room which was nice but, for some reason, it was very hot in there. That was the only downfall. Our leader, and favorite party animal, a kept us in stitches all night. Mom and I ordered a Malibu Breeze which was very good but very small and NOT worth the 5.79 they charged! I ordered an Appletini (a was drinking them) and enjoyed the first sip but it was just too strong for . Once it warmed up (they served it cold) it tasted better but I didn't want it. Mom gladly finished it. a ordered a chocolate martini after her meal and I didn't care for that but mom did. It had actual chocolate in it! Go figure. We aren't going to talk about what I ate because that's between me, my stomach, and the TOPS scales! LOL! I did fill up on salad and got an appetizer instead of an actual meal though so that's something. Everyone passed out cards and gifts and etc. to one another. We had a great waiter who was VERY funny. He had a thick Bronx accent and got along really well with our crazy group. We are all a bunch of nuts and proud of it! He said we seemed like a fun group and wanted to know where we were going to go after dinner! LOL! After dinner read The Family Christmas and we did our ornament exchange. That's always a lot of fun! After that a ordered a couple of buttery nipple shots which were very, very good. We also sang and danced with the waiter so mom and I could get extra points for our online team contest going on on Texas TOPS. If you would like to see pics of us dancing with our waiter and/or pictures of our Christmas party let me know. They came out great! ! ! ! We arrived there around 6:30 and didn't leave until well after 10 p.m. We all had a blast. I always enjoy hanging out with my TOPS chapter members. We always have sooooooooo much fun at SRD that's for sure! ! !
