I am so happy she found a good home and I'm sure she will be a great friend. You did a good deed. My friend always said..... another " plus " is being marked for you in that big book in heaven. Guest guest
God bless you, Carol, for rescuing your little angel! All of my dogs are/have been rescues and it's such an awesome thing to do! I'm actually buying a bulldog puppy this weekend and feel a bit guilty about it. But our other bulldog is a rescue so I guess it evens out! A little folklore about chihuahuas -- I live and teach in a predominantly Hispanic area and nearly all of my students have a chihuahua. I thought it was just ethnic loyalty, but then they told me that many Mexicans believe that the chihuahua keeps its humans healthy by " taking " their diseases, particularly respiratory illnesses! While your chihuahua may not take away your illness, I'm sure he'll keep you healthy in spirit! -Anne > Hi everyone! I just wanted to check in and say hi. Guest guest
Carol, that is so cool about your dog! It sounds like she needed you as much as you needed her! You are right, there are lots of dog lovers here. I think that pets are great therapy. I didn't catch it if you said what you named her and little dogs live a long time so seven isn't old at all. a C
