Guest guest
It always amazes me when doctors suggest that there is no pain associated with EDS. Look at the repeated joint trauma that the joints endure with repeated dislocations and subluxations, and when we are not doing that, we are spasming muscles trying to keep things in place. Sounds painless to me..... Jill I've had several doctors tell me I couldn't be in pain from EDS. Plus " poeple like you are usually in the circus. Guest guest
Is there a percent that reflects the amount of doctors who think there is no pain; compared to those who think there is not? Guest guest
Love this myself..........Knew you all would understand exactly how I felt when this so called dr said EDS doesnt hurt ....... whew- I honestly do not know how I did not get nasty and hang up............ ( guess I kept in back of mind- that I didnt want to lose my doctor- who is in same building - hoping he gives this other doctor a few words about it after we have time to discuss what happened...... ) ---------- I still prefer the " communication motivation " of the old story about the attractive young lady getting settled into the dentist's chair, then calming reaching down, gently grasping the dentist in a mannger sure to get his attention, and sweetly saying " Now, we aren't going to hurt each other, are we? Guest guest
Got that right- I've not met this dr in person- Sure hope to see him- even from a distance..... So when I'm hospitalized his face sticks with me enough to say " GET HIM OUT OF HERE " . Re: Get this guys It always amazes me when doctors suggest that there is no pain associated with EDS.
