Guest guest
Hi...I have been viewing group messages on and off for awhile. My husband had a radiofrequency ablation for afib on 9/20/05 at the University of Michigan Hospital. He has had 2 cardioversions in the past and stays in NSR for about 7-8 months. His cardiologist in Muskegon is always reluctant to do the cardioversions and he had to practically insist to get it done. That is one reason he elected to have the ablation. Also he can't tolerate the afib without lots of symptoms like fatique, shortness of breath, loss of voice, etc. He is currently on Coumadin, Flecainide and his HBP meds...Lopressor and Lisinopril/HCTZ. He is scheduled for followup on 1/4/06 and is concerned about what he calls PACs. I haven't seen much info on this and wondered if others could share their experience or knowledge. He is currently in NSR but describes the PACs as almost as debilitating as afib. Is there any treatment for the PACs or is this something that he will have to live with?
