Guest guest
Hi, Kim! I've missed talking to you. I could read the messages, but couldn't post. Darlene fixed it for me; isn't she a peach? I wanted to call you, but misplaced your phone number. Probably a good thing, because if one of your parents had answered, they would have gotten a big ol' Hoosier earful! I'll write more late. I was told I had tendinitis (tennis elbow; pretty good for someone who hasn't played tennis for 20+ years!) and got a shot of Kenalog, which is similar to cortisone. It has helped, but it still starts aching after being bent a few minutes, or with repetitive stuff, like typing. I still hope to get together with you before you leave the states. Talk more later. Oh, if I were you, I'd buy a little microwave & fridge & just stay up in your rooms. Use paper plates, live on soup & sandwiches, & let your parents fend for themselves, like they will when you are gone. Then the twins can use the fridge & micro in their apt. Guest guest
Rose Well, I am sorry you misplaced my number (I have misplaced yours as well! great brains think a like!!hehehe) cause I would love for someone to call and give some people around here an earful! I like the fridge and microwave idea. Just hibernate like little bears in caves. What a picture that makes in my mind. I am really glad that you got some answers about your arm and hope that it continues to get better. My stupid arm is really a problem again lately, sometimes I want to take it off. It is the left one and it is almost worthless sometimes. It doesnt do what you want it to, it hangs there, or it is so weak, whats the point? it doesnt respond sort of at times, now my hand is "clawing up" more and more often, kind of like the thumb drawing up and under and the fingers drawing in a little bit and getting stuck that way for short to long periods and it gets a little shaky to twitchy like that. OH GOOD GRIEF, WHAT AM I 99? This is so stupid. I hate this arm. When I first crashed, my arm never was a trouble, other than over all weakness and pain, but then it was always my ridiculous left leg that was the problem, I do not know why it shifted to this arm. I know have a very adversarial relationship with my left arm. I think I am going to give it a name actually, kind of like the prednisone personality names some have said they have here. Can you imagine this arm when I am in my Sr. years? Scary isnt it? So did he give you a "contraption" to wear that can help or do the shots help enough alone? Will you go back for shots on a regular basis? Or are there oral meds you can take? Take care Kim
