Guest guest
SWITCH! We went thru this with hubby's 1st neurologist. After we got the "don't call us, we'll call you" treatment....I called our pcp & got him a referral to another neuro. This one is great! -- How did you get it? For all those you have been dx'ed without positive blood work, did your dr.go by something else?I just got off the phone with my ruemmy's nurse.I tried asking her if I could posibly have lupus without positive blood tests. She told me "no you can't...all your blood tests for inflammotory arthritis have come back normal. You do not have anything like that"Then she basicly told me that the dr is a great ruemmy and if I don't like what he is telling me,I can switch and get a second opinion! She also told me that I am calling too much, asking questions and she told me that she wants me to save all my questions for my next appt.Which isn't until July 14th!I don't know if I should stay with this ruemmy(I've only been with him since the begining of Dec,2003)and see what he says about everything.Or if I should switch.I am really upset. She actually made me feel like I was bothering them by calling.Rhonda ____________________________________________________ IncrediMail - Email has finally evolved - Click Here

Guest guest
Rhonda, I can't tell you how it was with me. It was 17 years ago in Poland. I know they took a piece of my skin to the ANA, I think, otherwise I can't remember. My symptoms were so evident though: the facial rash, the protein in the urine, high creatinine showing kindey involvement, the achy joints and more. I did go for a second opinion here, but they went by the test results I showed them from Poland and reconfirmed without a doubt. Mojo How did you get it?
