Guest guest
Just as a side note! 2 things about peanuts and peanut butter: 1. Peanuts are a great source of protein which will keep you full longer than a simple carb. They also contain tryptophan which helps with sleeping. (Tryptophan is the amino acid also found in turkey which causes people to feel sleepy after Thanksgiving dinner.) Anyway, point is, eating peanuts before bed is great for keeping you full and for keeping you asleep. 2. Peanut Allergies - One reason doctors & scientists believe the number of peanut allergies is on the rise is because we are introducing them into the diet too soon. It is reccommended not to give children under 3 yrs of age any peanuts/peanut butter. Before that age, the body may not be ready to handle the protein and may build up antibodies to this foreign molecule causing an allergic response. > > > > > > Hi SillyYaks-- > > > > > > What a great name!
