I've never heard that one before, I must admit. But I don't see why

you wouldn't be able to donate, as so many people out there only have

the one kidney, & they do perfectly fine with just the one.

i thought it was strange too. they said that if i might not be able to ever

get pregnant, because my blood pressure would be high from having just one

kidney. but i'd rather risk not ahving children and save my brother's life

i thought it was strange too. they said that if i might not be able to ever

get pregnant, because my blood pressure would be high from having just one

kidney. but i'd rather risk not ahving children and save my brother's life

Lindsey,

I donated a kidney to my son in 2001, and my blood pressure stays

fairly low, usually around 110/80. My one remaining kidney works just

fine.
