could you sons anxiety and fear of drugs have anything to do with EDS

and what some think about the med's that we take. I can't remember if

your kid (or this son) have EDS and are on pain med's etc. I was

wondering if you or they were on narcotics or strong pain med's as

his school friends could be telling him WRONG information about these

med's and he could be scared that you/ he or his siblings could be a

drug addict etc just becuase they take these med's for pain control.

This is just a thought, I do NOT have kids but have heard enough from

the media and doctors to know that MANY MANY people have the wrong

idea about these medications. Maybe he is worried that he may need

them in the future if he has EDS or that he may " get " EDS and need

them if he doesn't have it. He could simply be confused and have been

fed the wrong information by the media, school, kids, TV etc. Maybe

you need to sit him down and explain about the EDS and the

medications that we do and can take and the difference between the

pain med's we take and illegal drugs and that EDS is not contagious

and if he doesn't have EDS then he will not " catch/get " it.

You never know what goes through kids minds.
