Arava (Leflunomide)

Arava is a disease-modifying anti-rheumatic drug (DMARD) which

reduces inflammation and slows disease progression of rheumatoid

arthritis. It is not chemically related to other DMARDS.

It also works as an immuno-supressant. As with everthing else there

are the predictions of dire side effects, but so far I'm not having

any, and this is the first drug that I haven't had any side effects

at all. It can be hard on your liver, but so can all the other stuff

they give us for lupus.

If you go to Google and type in Arava, it will bring you to lots of

sites where you can read about it.
