Guest guest
Hi, I had to stay until about 4:30. I had mine in the part of the hospital where all the conference rooms are. Not much going on there. I think there is a pshyciatric ward there too. But, the cafeteria was open. And, there were a few people wandering around. But, it was mostly just medical people. THere wasn't anything to do, except watch tv or read. Thsoe things always put me to sleep, so it was extra hard to stay awake between naps. Good luck for you. I didn't think I would make it through, but I did. As soon as I was doen, I had a cup of coffee and a shower, and I felt much better. But, I still ended up falling asleep on the couch at about 8:30. Guest guest
Hi , It must have been absolutely horrible trying to stay awake with little to no stimulation!! That is one thing that I am worried about. I will fall asleep if I read during the day and tv won't keep me awake either. As far as the night time study, if I didn't take the Klonopiin, then they would see all the twitches and my not being able to sleep well at all. Things are better with the Klonopin though. If I eat anything with sugar the next day, I will be a goner for sure! I just got back from breakfast out and had pancakes with strawvberry syrup and boy was it yummy! Now I am paying the price though! Guess that won't be one of the breakfast choices that morning. Wish me luck. I go in on Monday at 9pm. Guest guest
Hey Bonnie, No, I'm not sure at all that I don't have reactive hypoglycemia. In fact, we had breakfast with a couple of our best friends. They live out of town now but he is the head of the family practice unit at Eastern Carolina Medical School. He thinks there is something to say for all that too,,, especially since my mom was adult onset diabetic. Funny though that I can't get anyone to really listen to me about it. Hopefully, after the test, maybe they will! If you eat a carb (sugar included) the blood sugar causes an over production of insulin, thus LOWERING the blood sugar terribly. Have you checked out Dr. Devin Starlanyl's website on fibro and reactive hypoglycemia? http://www.sover.net/~devstar/
