Welcome to the family. I am from Alberta also. I live in Calgary. I was

diagnosed with VEDS in October 2003. I am 46 years old and have had no real

medical issues so far. Where do you live in Alberta?? What genetecist are

you seeing? I saw a Dr. Ross MacLeod at Childrens Hospital in Calgary. He

This is Patti -- so glad to see you here!!!!!!! This group has wonderful people

in it and I'm sure you'll find people nearer to you (I'm in Maine), but I'm

here all the time so just ask your questions and we'll do our best.

I'm glad your son has a good sense of humor - it will definitely help him cope

with VEDS.

Sue Ginley here. I have VEDS and so do my two children. I live in the

Buffalo area, so I am not nearby, but there are other members here or on the

VEDS

list (yahoogroups.com) that can help you. I can put you in touch with another

mom who is in the same boat and her son is the same age too. Is it all right
