The only way I can describe it is that for some darn reason, I seem to hurt everywhere, all of the time, for no reason. It's like I got a sports injury sans sport! So lame, I know. Guest guest
Hi ladies, I'm in the soup, too. I was diagnosed with RA and fibro, with Lupus diagnosis pending. For the life of me, I can't figure out which disease is causing what problem! My doctor said the muscle spasms and muscle aches are mostly fibro, the joint swelling and problems with my hands are RA and maybe Lupus, and the numbness/tingling and sensitivity to cold in my hands and feet are probably Lupus. As for treatment, I'm taking Plaquenil and methotrexate, which are common for RA and Lupus, and Celebrex for RA. I'm starting physical therapy which will help all three. The non-steroidal anti- inflammatories which are good for fibro interact with my other stuff so for pain I'm taking Unum (Tramadol) as needed. Confusing!!! -Anne > > > In a message dated 6/3/2004 10:58:32 PM US Mountain Standard Time, > > cruisinshelby@y... writes: > > > > Shelby? Are you my long lost twin ?? Guest guest
Yes, very much with the balance thing. I had to use a walker for about four or five months a while back. It was right when they found my lupus, but to be honest I have had a problem with dropping things or getting wobbly for a long time before my bloodwork showed lupus. I haven't ever had the other problem though. Maybe I will get lucky and skip that one. a C Ok, I'm not one to talk about my condition much, but since you are talking about fibro........ Guest guest
Welcome to our fibro club -Anne, lol. I know what you mean, it's real hard to tell which pain is from which dx. I was already taking neurontin for my fibro when they found the lupus so my DR just kept me on that and icreased it. a C
Guest guest
Hey, this is Shelby... sorry, but I have crappy dial-up so I don't get online as often as I'd like. YES I drop stuff and I hate it! I never know it's coming either! It's like all of the sudden my muscles or tendons just let go, like an electrical pulse said to let go and there goes another glass! I've gotta wonder if my brain is just totally confused. I asked my doctors about it, but they said it might just be muscle fatigue. Whatever, I think my brain just sends out bad signals! Sorry you have a bummer brain, too! Shelby > > > In a message dated 6/3/2004 10:58:32 PM US Mountain Standard Time, > > cruisinshelby@y... writes: > > > > Shelby? Are you my long lost twin ??
