As a kid, I use to not be able to stand riding in the car on a rainy day as the 'normal' car smell of the upholstrey, glue, etc... made me feel dizzy and sick. My parents thought I was being fussy and cranky, but NO I wasnt, to me any car in rainy weather STINKS. And any brand new car to me also stinks! I find when my Dad cooks with garlic or any strong spice the smell really, really, makes me feel sick. I shut my room up so I have one 'low smell' room when he does that. There are a lot of other smells...yes perfumes/aftershave *GROSS* why do people have to wear them? Ever been stuck in an elevator headed for the very top floor with someone drenched in that stuff? Here are preliminary results from the survey I did this past summer on smell senstivities.
