Guest guest
Thanks so much, . WIll keep you posted. Love, Patti Re: Ultrasound Hi, Glad to hear everything looks good! But, I know exactly how you feel - no answer! That is so frustrating. I've been getting it for about 13 years, until EDS came up. As we all say all the time, hang in there. Maybe watching your diet will help. I have been paying more attention to mine, and am noticing how I feel after eating things. So far, I've found I can't eat much red meat. And, when I have a coke, which is rarely, I get the most awful stomach pain. Kinda like a bruised feeling. So, I'm not drinking any more of that! Funny, it doesn't happen when I drink ginger ale, which I like better anyway. Hope things get better. So glad to hear your gall bladder is ok. Guest guest
Hi Lana -- Yeah, that's one of the things my doctor first told me I had three years ago. So we embarked on a program of trying out different foods, eliminating foods, adding fiber, adding acidolphilus, trying antispasmodic meds - and so far, nothing has made a bit of differrence. I've reduced my stress (mediating, and seeing a therapist has helped) so I'm getting that under control, and while that good for the rest of me, it hasn't helped this. The last time I saw my doctor I told her I just didn't know what to try now, and I was actually thinking that just stopping eating would surely " fix " it (of course, I love to eat too much to actually do that, but it sure does cross my mind!!). And now, in the last few weeks, I started getting severe abdominal pains. So, who knows????? So if it is IBS (which it probably is), I'm hoping the doctor I'm seeing on the 25th will have some suggestions for me to try. It's just so frustrating -- I've become the toilet paper industries best friend!!!!!!! Thanks for listening. Love, Patti RE: Ultrasound Patti, do you have IBS? Could that possibly be it? Guest guest
Thank you, Jill. Love, Patti Re: Ultrasound Well, I guess that's good and bad news Patti! On one hand, a simple and quick diagnosis would have been great but on the other hand, this puzzle is frustrating and difficult. Hang in there Patti, somewhere somehow, the answer will make itself known.
