Dear Dana,

Thank you. We are starting Ojibwa Tea this week. I am going to break down and

buy McCandless' book, I think...I have reserved it at the library but I'm number

five on the holds list and it's been months! Sigh. I think we will try to

consult with Dr. Gupta, too.

I received a very sweet e-mail from the grandson of the man who developed

Lauricidin suggesting it might help . I want to try it, but your stories

of yeast have me a cautious.

Did you do Vitamin A, then OLE, then Lauricidin, or did you do them all

together?

Thanks!

I remember that, yes.

live with the consequences.

Each of us should do what we believe is right. It is not wrong to be

" less courageous " .

chelation schedule or started him on SSRI's with Goldberg because we

went into a zone that was uncomfortable but seemed promising at the

time, I can't say which is better: cautious or fearless...for us.

For anti-viral, I have used high dose vitamin A protocol, olive leaf

extract, and Lauricidin. I can give you info on those, if you want.

Yes, it is supposed to eliminate yeast. However, it promotes yeast.

Well, I think it is the viral die off which promotes yeast, and the

Lauricidin just does not address it. Maybe it is an " odd " strain of

yeast. I don't know. A few people have test results and have shared

them with me, and I have forwarded them on to Dr. Kabara. But I have

not read anything which might explain WHY this problem occurs.

But for my son [in fact, all my kids], the yeast caused by

Lauricidin/viral die off is WORSE than the yeast caused by chelation.

I need to use much more GSE to get rid of this yeast than I did while

chelating.

Dana:

Has Dr. Kabara written back on why this problem occurs, because when I spoke to

him, he told me that it should treat yeast/bacteria and viruses. But I think

your right about the Lauricidin causing yeast, because I've been giving it to my

son and for some reason he tends to get yeasty alot, even though he's on the

SCDiet. Hmmmm......very interesting.

Thanks

He said it was probably viral die off.

>>because when I spoke to him, he told me that it should treat

yeast/bacteria and viruses.

Last we corresponded, he stated he still believed the studies that it

was effective with yeast. But he was willing to keep an " open mind " ,

and would re-consider his opinion *if* people were providing him with

actual test results indicating yeast. All I was able to provide him

was " my son had symptoms of yeast overgrowth, I gave GSE, the symptoms

went away " , but that was not sufficient for him.
