Pam,

I also sleep on a waterbed.....I couldn't sleep on anything else either. But, lately, it's been making my back hurt worse. I dunno whether it's because of the waterbed, or because of the RSD and Fibro. I know I need to add some more water to it before it gets too much colder though.....

But, does your back hurt because of your waterbed by any chance?

hmmm, I'll add some more water to mine then and see if that will help my back some more. I added some to it last month and it did help a little bit but not much, it's still hard for me to get out of bed in the mornings. I also use a body pillow between my knee's to try and keep my back in alignment. That seems to help a little bit also.
