Hi,

I am okay these days. My social worker is doing more for me then ever before.

They paid my back rent, paid on the gas, got me meal on wheels. Even my

apartment complex landlord is sympathetic. I suppose they now believe that Bill

was

sick and that I too am disabled. Both of us having invisible disability was

the pits.

Now I am spending all my time sorting through Bills stuff and my stuff as I

try to rearranged all. The search for documents to support his PTSD VA

document. Bill applied for pension back in 1998. Yet, all I am finding is

letters

telling him they are still working on it. Since 1998! I now know that he did not

supply enough detailed information. I suppose his brain cancer of the last two

years did not help much. Caro.

I am really trying. Going through our old storage items had so much dust and

I got my asthma back. But I am almost done. I found one of Bill's love letters

from 1979 in which he proposed. It was hidden in one of my old books. Nice

:-D. Caro.

So true. And thanks for the kind comments. My social worker got someone to

drive me to my bank 5/4/04 so I could get my rent check. I prefer to purchase an

official check rather than worry my personal check might bounce from some EFT

stuff coming out of my account. They helped me once with back rent and it is

my responsibility from now on to keep rent current. Having an assigned driver

is weird. Weird nice of course. A taxi would have been over $25. The SW said I

could not afford that. They are treating me like I as some fragile flower.

She also spoke of getting me clothes. I do look about five years out of date for

any style. Caro.

You got that right. I am still amazed that they replaced my broken microwave.

I have been on total disability since 1998. I am on SSD since 1999. Yet,

nobody believed me. It is so weird. I got SSD right away because my EDS Mom told

me decades ago NEVER take off any day from work unless you see a doctor and

keep excuse slip. With my SSD application I gave in over ten years of BP

records.

Then, on top of that I had my job fighting for me. Yet on disability as the

years went by, no one could see my disability. If they saw my BP to them it

meant rush me to the nearest hospital or something. Only now do they realize why

I am different. And that it is NOT my fault!

Finally, I suppose my BP and diagnosis of EDS and Autonomic problems was just

too much for me to be making up I suppose. Ha Ha. Caro.

Hang in there Caro, it's better just to get the documents gathered and

submitted then not at all. I wish though, that things had fallen into place

sooner for you though, it would have been so much more less stress to deal

with!!

Hang in there! Try not to get too overwhelmed please!

Am glad to hear you are doing ok Caro- definitely keeping you in my prayers-

They should have helped you long before this anyhow - the goofballs.

But at least it is helping out now- and that can remove some stress which is

great.........

Funny- what it takes them to make them belive ya........... so unfair........

Since 1998- dang- you would have thought long before now they'd have done

something.

Remember always, your in my prayers.........Take care of you --------

Love And Hugs-------- TJ
